Repairs and Servicing
For the majority of the Instruments and equipment we are able to repair and service on-site at a competitive price, but when this is not available we can accept repairs in house at our workshop. We can also provide packaging and pick up courier service at extra cost.
Calibration
When calibration is required for Tonometers, lensmeters, Keratomoters, Autorefractors and others, we can check calibration on most equipment and instruments, which is required for CE and PCT and also for other circumstances.
NHS PCT Inspection Visits
When equipment is needed to be inspected / calibrated for NHS PCT we can offer a quick, easy and competitive practice visit. Your equipment be checked for calibration and operation and advice given for any possible short falls. All the equipment looked at will receive a tag to verify the units has been inspected. (This does not include electrical safety testing but it will be given a visual safety check)
Installations
Installations are usually reserved for installation of new equipment but there are times where if you have brought items second hand or from abroad from a third party you may need us to install the equipment for you which we will be glade to help you with.
Instrument relocation
If you are moving premises then we can help you with moving your equipment we can offer a direct movement of your equipment and in some cases store it for you. All instruments are tested before removal and retested after installation. We do move optical furniture but not desks, cabinets and fridges etc...
Refurbishment and Upholstery Repair
If your optical chair needs recovering or you have a old piece of equipment we can always have a look at it for you to see if we can rejuvenate, this not always possible but we will do our best to see if we can bring new life into your instruments and equipment. If we can't then there maybe the possibility of part ex for new equipment.
Contract Visits
We also offer preventative maintenance contract visits to practices wishing to maintain their test room and pre-test equipment and ensure that it’s calibration is correct. We can offer yearly contracts for normal servicing and calibration checks for PCT and piece of mind or six monthly visits for items like lensmeters (foci's) which is needed for CE Marking.
