The Huvitz OCTavius is a state‑of‑the‑art optical coherence tomography (OCT) platform that integrates five essential diagnostic functions into one system: 3D OCT imaging, fundus photography, OCT‑angiography (OCT‑A), biometry and topography. It’s engineered for modern ophthalmology and optometry practices where accurate structural and vascular assessment of the eye is critical for diagnosis and treatment planning.

With a high‑speed scan rate of up to 80,000 A‑scans per second, OCTavius captures stabilized, high‑resolution 3D images of retinal and choroidal layers even in the presence of eye movement or blinking, reducing retakes and improving patient comfort. The system’s true‑color fundus imaging delivers distortion‑free views of the retina in a single shot, enabling clinicians to visualise arteries, veins and microvascular features clearly. Additionally, enhanced angiography supports detailed vascular mapping without the need for contrast dye.

Beyond retinal structure imaging, OCTavius includes optical biometry for axial length and anterior segment measurements, and corneal topography with 16 map types for comprehensive evaluation of corneal curvature and elevation — supporting precise IOL calculation and pre‑surgical planning.
