Repairs and Servicing- *We offer free workshop quotes on all repairs and services*
We offer a service whereby our fully trained engineers can repair an instrument on site at a competitive price.When this is not possible, we can repair the instrument at our workshop and get it back to you as soon as possible. We can provide packaging and a courier pick up service at an extra cost. Please note that where an instrument is sent to us for a quote, the customer is to cover the cost of P&P both ways. For on-site visits, please contact us for a quote.

Calibration
Calibration is required on most instruments for CE, PCT and BSI. Here at Mainline, we are able to calibrate instruments such as tonometers, Goldmann tonometers, lensmeters, keratometers and auto-refractors.
NHS PCT Inspection Visits
When equipment is needed to be inspected/calibrated for NHS PCT, we can offer a quick, easy and competitively priced practice visit. Your equipment can be checked for calibration/ operation and when needed advice is given for any possible short falls. All of the equipment inspected will receive a tag to verify that the unit has been inspected (Please note that this does not include electrical safety testing).
Installations
Our engineers are on hand to install any new equipment into your practice. If you have bought any ex-demo or second hand equipment from a third party, Mainline Instruments would be happy to help with the installation.
Instrument Relocation
If you are moving premises, we can offer a direct removal and re-installation of equipment into a new practice. All instruments are tested before removal and retested after installation. Please note that we only relocate optical equipment.
Refurbishment and Upholstery Repair
Does your equipment need a make over? Here at Mainline Instruments we try to bring new life into old, tired looking equipment. We can reupholster and repair most equipment but when this is not possible, you may be able to part exchange it for a newer model.
Contract Visits
We offer a preventative maintenance contract to practices who wish to maintain the standard of their test room and equipment. We can offer yearly contracts for servicing and calibration or six monthly contracts for maintenance on equipment such as lensmeters.
